Fireplace Repair in a Cozy Living Room

Gas Fire Installation

Efficient ambiance with peace of mind.

Installation: We install domestic inset, balanced-flue, and flueless catalytic gas fires. This includes fitting a flue liner (if open flue), installing a carbon monoxide (CO) detector (mandatory), and correctly sizing the fire’s heat output to your room. We ensure all hearth and clearance distances meet Document J of Building Regulations.

Service: We strip down the fire to clean burner matrices, remove soot/cobwebs from injectors, check the spillage monitoring system, and test the oxygen depletion sensor (ODS) to ensure it shuts off if oxygen levels drop.

Repair: We replace failed thermocouples, electromagnets (for flame failure), piezo igniters, and worn fire front control taps. We also re-seal flue spigots to prevent fume leakage.
